Toyota Celica 2000 ST RA28 1977

- From 2nd owner
- New MOT
- Recently serviced
- Classic of the future!

Toyota introduced the Celica in 1970. For 36 years, various versions were produced. Quality was and still is central to Toyota! . The model in question is a "liftback" version. This title was released by Toyota in 1973. It is seen as a combination of a hatchback together with a fastback. The 2000 ST falls under this term. The liftback had been given another name, namely "Japanese Mustang" or "Mustang Celica". This was because of the comparisons between the 2 models. The liftback was also known as the RA28, and came with the 2.0-litre 18R engine.

Our offered Toyota Celica 2000 ST RA28 is from 1977. It was delivered new in Sandefjord, Norway. The Toyota was driven until 1983, after which it was covered and heated and cherished in a collection. The previous owner bought it over in 2019 and partially restored it. Because the car has been so well preserved, it has never been welded, the bodywork has remained in original condition.
We have listed an overview of the parts and components that have been replaced, among others, below:
- New gaskets
- New brake parts, new shock absorbers & tyres
- New springs, wheel bearings, brake hoses, etc.
- New windscreen and OEM gaskets around windows and doors
- New spark plugs, sump pan gasket, valve cover gasket, valves checked & adjusted
- Master brake cylinder overhauled
- New radiator and water pump

In addition, the car has recently been given a new MOT

As you can read, the car has been well taken care of. This is also reflected in the current state of the Celica. The colour is turquoise blue metallic, which has been professionally painted and is still in very good condition. The light brown interior is a combination of fabric and vinyl. These are still original! There are several gauges scattered around the dashboard that give the car character. These are gauges for; revs, speed, petrol, temperature, volt and an analogue clock. In addition, the car is equipped with rear window heating. The interior is in a clean condition. At the bottom of the car there are 14-inch alloy wheels. At the back of the car, there is a spare wheel.

Under the bonnet, there is a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine. This engine block is known as the "18R" engine. It is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The engine runs well and shifts smoothly.

Japanese classics are becoming increasingly popular among collectors and car enthusiasts!
