Descrizione

From a private collection I sell Alfa Romeo 1750 sedan, first series, built on February 8, 1968 and sold in Bari on February 12 of the same year. It comes in a rare combination. Bluette color with interior in bourdeaux scai.

Chassis number AR1305464, engine number AR00548 * 08780 * and ministerial revision valid until November 2021. After a long period of inactivity it was retargeted in 2015 with plates and documents in order, matching number.

Excellent PRESERVED, FIRST PAINT, never repainted with digital thickness gauge that says what is under the paint. Zero putty, zero rust.

Excellent condition, as shown in the photos, with small minor signs. A bodywork restoration was carried out by an expert removal master to make the car perfect in its lines, without having to be repainted, an intervention that would have compromised the originality of the car.

Under body and boxed bottoms are perfect where, in some places, the brick-colored preparation bottom is still visible, which was given in Alfa Romeo in 1968 for all the dark cars before the final painting.

Interior, seats, panels, dashboard, carpet, and on-board instrumentation all as new and fully functional. Imperial sky without signs or tears.

Below are the interventions carried out as routine maintenance:

motor unit, mechanics and chassis completely dismantled, cleaned, overhauled or replaced with new and original spare parts. Replacement group complete with 4 barrels and 4 pistons, all the bushings, all the oil seals and the engine gaskets. Head completely overhauled including intake and exhaust valves with rectification of the relative seats, flattening of the head, replacement of the valve plates for adjustment, set of cylinder head gaskets, emery, grinding of the flywheel and finally polishing of the single engine block.

Spark plug cables, distributor, 4 new candles and cap.

The carburation was carried out in a workmanlike manner by the only master in the sector, Bergamo Carburatori, who perfectly regulated the carburettor (Dell'Orto, Solex or Weber that is). In cold weather, before starting, just sink the accelerator pedal 4 times and then start. It starts at the perfect first shot.

Other elements replaced with new spare parts are the following:

alternator belt, battery, air filter, oil filter, fuel filter, thermostat gasket, water pump, clutch pump, fuel pump, brake pump (master cylinder), radiator with all the water hoses, upper and lower.

Balancing of the transmission shaft with replacement of the universal joints and complete overhaul of the guide box (as new).

Replaced the 2 engine supports, heating tap, rear axle strips, complete kit of heads, transmissions, arms and arms, 8 rubber buffers.

The only flaw is the complete set of rubber mats for the trunk.
