At Gallery Aaldering, we often hear that the faster a car is, the better. With so many beautiful (classic) cars that we sell annually, we know better than anyone how cars drive and what they have to offer. May we give you a word of advice? If you are in the market for a classic car with a beautiful Italian body, a delightful engine, and the right combination of performance and experience, then you simply cannot overlook this Fiat Dino. By the right combination, we mean that with a Dino, you can drive sportily without immediately reaching highly illegal speeds. This is why a Fiat Dino is rightfully one of our favorites.

Perhaps you are already familiar with the history, but in the 1960s, Ferrari needed a two-liter engine for Formula 2. It was required to build 500 units to meet the homologation requirements, and for that, Ferrari enlisted the help of Fiat. Thus, both Ferrari and Fiat had a Dino.

In 1966, the Fiat Dino was introduced, initially with a two-liter engine. With disc brakes all around, independent front suspension, and a five-speed gearbox, the Dino also had all the comforts that make it a fine car to drive. A year later, a coupe with Bertone's legendary lines was introduced, and in 1969, a 2.4-liter V6 and a ZF gearbox followed. The independent rear suspension was also a nice addition. With 180 hp and modern suspension, it is truly a joy to drive, we can assure you.
Our example is a beautiful Fiat Dino 2400 coupe that looks stunning in its green color scheme. This is an original example in good condition. With this Dino, we provide documentation consisting of recent invoices, photos of restoration and overhaul work, an appraisal report, and a maintenance manual.

The body is very original and in good condition. The body panels are beautiful and fit neatly everywhere. For cosmetic reasons, the paint has been resprayed once and therefore looks very well-maintained. Due to its very original and good condition, the car has not been fully restored. The car has the original wheels, equipped with good tires in the correct sizes. The underside of the car is also very neat; see the photos we have included on our website.

The interior is very original and in good condition, with only light signs of use. The carpets and seats have developed a nice patina over the years. The instruments and controls are all in very good condition and look great. And yes, that tachometer really does go high. The magic of this engine is at the top of the rev range, but that won't have escaped you.

Although Bertone's bodywork is stunningly beautiful and the entire design is a feast for the eyes, the undisputed star of the show is the fantastic 2.4-liter V6 engine. The engine has the typical Ferrari V6 sound, runs smoothly, and has delightful pulling power both at the bottom and top of the rev range. The clutch and brake pedal operate flawlessly, and the chassis of this Dino feels solid and sure-footed. The technology is well-maintained, and you can feel that when driving.
