The Maserati Bora was one of the first great supercars of the Seventies and as Maserati’s first mid-engined car with a 4.7-litre development of the Ghibli’s V8 engine this gorgeous coupe could reach 170mph. But it was perhaps the Bora’s stunning lines, penned by Giorgetto Giugiaro, the designer of such classics as the Aston Martin DB4 ‘Bertone’ Jet, De Tomaso Mangusta and Iso Grifo which have ensured its iconic status. With just 571 cars built, the Maserati Bora remains a rare car, especially in RHD form with only 27 cars constructed. This is a particular desirable example in the classic colour combination of red, with stainless steel roof and tan leather. It is also in very original, unrestored condition having been part of a Swiss collection for many years.
