Eligible for international historic events Race prepped with freshly prepared spare race engine A beautifully presented example of one of the most sort-after small capacity sports racing cars of the 1950's. Professionally prepared and maintained, few cars are more eligible for such a wide array of events as the Lola Mark 1, the first commercial sports-racing car produced by Lola Cars Ltd. Currently the installed engine has only three races on it since its last rebuild; the wishbones have all been crack tested; the gearbox has been rebuilt, and a new clutch and thrust bearings have been fitted. Still retaining its Aluminium tail, there is a spare fiber-glass nose with the car and a second, freshly rebuilt race engine. Accompanied by an extensive history file with correspondence from past owners, Peter Ashdown and David Pratley, as well as extensive invoices and its current and old FIA papers, it is very much ready to take to the track in the wide array of events for which it is so eligible.
