Our customer offers for sale this 1967 Ford Galaxie 500XL, a restored cabriolet equipped with a robust 6.5L V8 engine and automatic transmission. Imported from the USA in 2015, the car underwent a restoration between 2017 and 2018. The body and frame were welded, sealed, and repainted in the original color. Chrome bumpers were refurbished, and new exterior mirrors and handles were installed.

The interior features newly upholstered leather seats (front and rear), refreshed door panels, and matching carpets, all completed in 2018. The dashboard and center console complement the interior’s color scheme. All electronics, including the air conditioning, are functional, although the AM radio does not work. Mechanically, the engine starts, the gearbox shifts, and there are no unusual noises or smoke.

The Ford Galaxie 500XL was part of Ford’s full-size car lineup in the 1960s, recognized for its powerful engines, sleek styling, and spacious interiors. The 1967 model marked the last year of the fourth-generation Galaxie, featuring a redesigned grille and cleaner lines.
